The Onehunga Enhancement Society is the local voice representing the community of Onehunga. The Society works towards making Onehunga and surrounds a better place to live and work in by lobbying for better amenities and infrastructure
Membership Benefits: By far the biggest benefit of membership is knowing you’re part of a group of likeminded people who are working hard for the best outcomes for Onehunga and surrounds.
- The East West Link/Connection. Working with Auckland Transport and NZTA on options to provide much improved access to the regional transportation network for businesses in the Onehunga and Penrose areas.
- Undergrounding of Transmission Lines
- Advocating for community use of the Onehunga Wharf, including ferries, fresh fish market, cafe, maritime museum. The more of us there are the harder it is to ignore our voices.
